Welcome to the website for the Kansas Journalism Institute, which is preparing for it 50th year at the University of Kansas’ world-renowned William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

We are tremendously excited this year to be offering eight different strands that will help high school journalists prepare for next year, whether they’re working for their newspaper, magazine, yearbook and/or online publication.

In addition, we’ll have a strand for journalism advisers who are just beginning their careers and advisers who want to revitalize their classroom and their career.
